All first time players & cheerleaders, MUST provide a COPY of their birth certificate at the time of registration!

Football Roster Limitations:
Each football team competing in the AAYFDT is allowed a maximum of 25 players to be registered. Therefore, on occasion, not everyone registering is guaranteed a position on a roster. Due to returning or “LEGACY” players, many spots on the teams will have already been taken.

Priority for registration is given as follows:

1. “LEGACY” players.
2. New registrants who have a “LEGACY” sibling.
3. Early registration, first come, first served.
4. Open registration.

In the instance of having more registrants than positions available on a given team, the Oiler Board will use a lottery system to determine the players who make the team. This selection process is done at random so every new player registrant, has an equal chance of being selected. Those registrants who are not selected for a spot on a team will receive a full refund immediately. The Oiler Board strongly recommends early registration.

Eligibility Requirements

• Any player/cheerleader who participated in the previous season with the Klein Oilers/Derrick Dolls has “LEGACY” rights and can re-register with the Klein Oiler Booster Club (KOBC) for the upcoming season assuming the participant still meets the age and/or weight requirements. This is true even if the participant has since moved from the Klein Oiler Booster Club attendance zone.
• Any new participant may register with the KOBC, regardless of residential address, provided that a sibling is currently a member of the KOBC and the new participant meets the age and/or weight requirements.
• Participants registering with the KOBC who have not themselves played before and do not have any legacy rights to the KOBC, must then live within the KOBC attendance zone.
• Those new registrants must be zoned to attend Hildebrandt Intermediate.
• Participants who live in these zones but attending private schools are also eligible to register with the KOBC.
